Hey guys, I'g trying to get into HTC Themes and when I try to sign in with my Google account it just keeps saying "We are unable to connect to the HTC servers. Delight try again later" I've tried rebooting my phone and logging in with other methods but it keeps coming up. Tin can anyone else ostend that it is in fact the HTC servers and not something silly going on with my telephone? Thanks!

I have an HTC account and when I put my email and password in and hit log in and says delight wait so a few seconds later I get the unable to talk to HTC servers fault. See the attached flick for the exact error.

Exactly the same problem here.
Vanila Htc 1 M7 — it happens regardless of the manner I try to sign in, gmail or htc account.

Don't cry too much. The themes created kinda suck. You accept no control over colors. They are picked past the app from those in the wallpaper. You can end with pinks and purples which aren't my favorites. As for icons it'due south easier to use a stand solitary icon pack. Simply thing that is really useful is that yous can change fonts. Then again, the choices are limited.

I want to do things like change notification icons, the colors in Quick Settings, and NavBar icons. Nosotros demand Xposed. I have Alpha ii installed and tried Xtended Settings. Phone froze on boot. Did larn latest TWRP volition do a Restore of ΠΣΘ ROM. Then that's something.

I recall nosotros are expecting too much from HTC Themes. The only style I run into to get the colors you want is to utilize a solid color wallpaper or one with four quadrants and the iv colors yous want.

As to non beingness able to log on, maybe they are doing some sort off staggered roll-out and information technology is out of our control.

I was missing the HTC Account service. If yous go in to settings>App Manager>All, see if you have "HTC Account", if information technology's not in that location, it's not going to work. Not sure where or when I disabled/deleted mine... but I just concluded up flashing a new rom on mine. HTC Business relationship is back and it's working.

Doesn't look like I have anything chosen but "HTC Account". How can this be added? I am on CleanROM 3.0. Cheers!

I am not sure, maybe the cleanrom thread would be more help. I was using cleanrom as well... perhaps Scott didn't have it in there at some point? Since it was recently mentioned that he wouldn't exist working on a lollipop rom, I accept since switched to Adrenaline and voila, "HTC Account" is there and running.

Oh man, that stinks.
When I was having the issue, I searched a bunch and came up with null. Definitely did non seem similar a common problem at all. There were some older posts on a different htc product and how missing that service caused the aforementioned error that you and I were having, but the people that had the issue merely had to re-enable the service. Not reinstall information technology.

I tried reinstalling cleanrom, no wipe or anything, and nothing, however wasn't there.

I suggested early your probably needed and agile HTC Account. I was on CleanROM and thought I I had it there likewise. Have you all gone to Accounts and Sync and hit the "+" primal and added it? It ain't there unless you lot add information technology. I do accept an app visible in TiBackup chosen HTC Account. I also have HTC Checkin Service and HTC Connexion service which may be pertinent. Maybe HTC Backup includes it. That seem to exist readily available to download.

Just some ideas.

Edit: Unzipped CleanROM and there is NO HTCAccount.apk therein. Looked inapp and priv-app so you are on to something. I remember there are some all stock ROM dumps in the Development thread. Should be in one of those.

Some other thought. CleanROM is Kitkat. Do HTC themes but work on Lollipop?

Peachy rom so far, had to change the boot animation though, reminded me of the stuff people would put every bit their backgrounds on iphones in the earlier days of jailbreaking.
